We are committed to empowering young citizens by opening our doors to students at tertiary levels of training to enhance their competences through a comprehensive 8-12 week Industrial Training and Apprenticeship Program. The program was developed under a USD 50,000 project “Strengthening of Practical Training in the Teaching in Diploma Granting Vocational and Technical Training Institutions - 2010”. The project was funded by the Millennium Science Initiative of the World Bank and Government of Uganda through Uganda National Council of Science and Technology (UNCST). Additional support for the internship program was provided under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Competition 2010 and a Euro 10,000 grant from GIZ through the Uganda Manufacturers Association. This support sought to enhance skills of apprentices in sales, marketing, finance, accounts and human resource management.
